IRIS Policy for Domestic Violence and Abuse
(DVA) (IRIS-trained practices)
IRIS is a general practice-based domestic violence and abuse (DVA) support programme.
You can talk to doctors, nurses, and other staff working here confidentially if you are being hurt or controlled by your current or ex-partner if you are afraid of someone at home, or a member of your family. Contact the surgery if you need help or talk to us in private.
If you would prefer to speak to an Advocate directly, contact Advance or Asian Women’s Resource Centre and ask to speak to the ‘IRIS Advocate Educator’:
